ummm so i figured id update since why the fuck not.
IM BACK IN CALI! west coast baby! i mos def got my fill of the u.s.of a. well the southern part. pretty pimp trip, 15 days and 5000 miles (plus or minus a few).
got stuck in vegas on a lay over for 6 hours due to a missed first flight, on day one but managed to explore the strip with the this 19 year old turkish girl trying to get to new york. she had been in colorado for the summer and needed some help figured out how to get to the strip and back to the airport on time to catch her plane so i helped her and we explored together. all things considered with having such delays in san francisco.
here was the trip from sarasota:
Sarasota, FL Miami Beach, FL St Augustine, FL Savannah, GA Hilton Head, SC Charleston, SC Atlanta, GA Montgomery, AL Mobile, AL Glufport/Biloxi, MS New Orleans, LA San Antonio, TX El Paso, TX Santa Fe, NM Las Vegas, NV Home.
11 states total (we drove through Arizona too obviously). Each place was awesome for being what it was, though Vegas was by far my least favorite. Go to New Orleans for drunken debauchery. Though the hurricane devastation was more than sombering and depressing, New Orleans was my favorite, with Charelston and St Augustine coming in a close third and fourth. San Antonio and Santa Fe were awesome too, and El Paso was basically Mexico. Border towns are the most fascinating of all.
Anyway, in two weeks I'll be moving to Thailand, coup and all.
Peace

i am ever so bored right now, so i do believe i shall do something.
i guess i will do this. its something right? BLARG!
well lets see. i will write how i used to, like about my life and whatnot and the things that i do. actually maybe not.
longboarding is really quite fun! i was doing it on saturday last and was going down the hill from red square to drumheller and turned to go in between johnson and bagley. it was quite a tight turn but i managed. however! there was a puddle of water that i hit midway through my turn at the point where i began to straighten out and the board totally slipped and threw my face first into the concrete. i roadrashed my right elbow pretty bad as i fell on that, my right hip and the right lobe of my forehead. it hurt, but luckily no one saw so i jumped right back up and was a little worried i had rebroken my radial head (as only a month had past since i broke it in the first place) i walked back to the hub lawn where heather and jon were put the longboard down and claimed never to skate again! as often negative reprocussions occured. i cleaned the scrapes, got a drink and got back on the longboard. it seriously is one of the funnest things in the world to do. if people participated in the sport in thailand i would buy my own, but alas no. possibly when i move back to america in nov. 2007.
there is my story.
here is another one!
i wish it was tomorrow so that i would be out on the open road!
that was shorter. but still good, still good.
this is fucking lame. i hate livejournal.

pretty much im bored.
i did just determine that my favorite kind of people are the ones who assume themselves to be incredibly open minded and knowledegable when in reality have no true perception of themselves whatsoever.
i need to stop stalking random people on myspace when im bored.
is it 5 yet?
but i did find out that pattaya beach is one the most increidble party spots in all of asia. next year is going to be sick. i scheduled all my physicals today and shots and whatnot. oh, so, fun.

so it looks as though im not leaving for florida until the end of sept ... which is fine. so now ill have three weeks at home before tahoe and the trip. so im thinking i may stay in seattle an extra week and not leave til the 10th or so! so i may be a-sleeping on someone's couch for a week or so if they allow me and my boxes to move in!
but i found a one-way ticket to tampa bay for $150 and a one-way ticket to Bangkok for $553 ... not to bad.

best weekend ever
usually id leave it at that but a quick glance as to why:
sunsets at golden gardens, indian dinners, seeing the most beautiful place (being rivaled only by the cinque terre) in the world, swimming in pristine mountain lakes in the olympics, ferry rides and sunsets, strong margaritas, bbqs, guster in-store, and star gazing.
im spent ... yay for the 40 hour work week ahead!

well im bored at work and cant think of anything else to do so here i am.
ok, so i think that i found another really good program for grad school. i wouldnt get an mpa through it, but i really like it and i think it would be a good stepping stone. this could get me into the field and maybe later get an mpa or something. but the program is at ucsd and its at the school of international relations and pacific studies. its cool because you have to pick a regional specialization and career track, one of which is international development and nonprofit management. sweet! and having written a 45 page paper on Bolivia as well spending a year in Thailand i would be a good candidate for either the latin america specialization or southeast asia.
yeah, thats a boring entry but im excited. i like knowing more school is coming. it eases my trepidations.

the thing that impresses me most of life is the time will always pass. that and everything always comes to an end. it honestly blows my mind. i know that seems really frivolous, but when you enter certain parts of your life that you expect never to end either due to sheer enjoyment, boredom, hatrid, comfort and indifference, it always ends.
im on this strange emotionalesque rollercoaster where i get so sad that college is over and im leaving in september, to excitement for all the future holds, and my return to see everyone come october 2007.
